「うきは市地域活性化に関する三者連携協定」の締結について

福岡県うきは市、九州経済連合会（以下九経連）、うきは福富古民家まちづくり協議会の三者は、うきは市の地域活性化に向けた連携協定を締結いたします。

当協議会は「暮らすように旅をする」生活観光を福岡県うきは市地域を中心に取組んでおり、ワーケーションもそのひとつとして定着を図るべく整備を進めてまいりました。

地域課題を参加者とともに検討し、解決策を導き出すプログラム「SDGs ワーケーション（オリジナル）」を提供することにより、近年の人口減少や過疎化に伴う空き家の増加など複合的な喫緊の対策の解決策を創出し実走させるべく、本事業に取り組んでまいりました。

本件のきっかけとなりました、観光庁の「新たな旅のスタイル事業」では、地域の現状を休暇（バケーション）として過ごしながらも感じ取り、魅力的な点、ヒント、また問題・課題を設定し、日頃の業務（ワーク）とつなぎ合わせ最終日に発表へと繋がり九州経済連合会の参加者様からご提案を頂きました。

これらを実走するため本協定を締結する運びとなりました。具体的な取り組みとして、空き家古民家を活用したワーケーション宿泊施設等滞在拠点の拡大、二次交通・モビリティの開発、うきは市ならではの農産品の輸出を通じた農業の活性化等に取り組んでまいります。これらを実施することにより新しい働き方や事業再構築へと繋がり地域活性化の一助となるよう進めてまいります。また他の事業者様や地域が同じような課題解決プロセス手段として取り組めるような【地域課題解決型SDGｓワーケーションプログラム】先進事例となり、九州各地、さら

には全国、海外への認知が広がることを目指してまいります。

Ukiha Fukutomi Kominka Machizukuri Council

Regarding the Conclusion of “Tripartite Collaboration Agreement on Ukiha City Regional Revitalization”

The prefecture of Fukuoka, Ukiha City, Kyushu Economic Federation (hereinafter referred to as Kyukeiren), and Ukiha Fukutomi Kominka Machizukuri Council, the three parties, will conclude a collaboration agreement for regional revitalization in Ukiha City.

Our council has been working on “Living-style Tourism” primarily in the Fukuoka prefecture, including efforts to establish teleworking as one of its initiatives. By providing a program called “SDGs Workation (Original)” that involves participants in examining regional issues and deriving solutions, we have been working on this project to create and implement solutions for urgent issues such as population decline and depopulation resulting in an increase in vacant houses.

This initiative was triggered by the “New Style of Travel Business” of the Japan Tourism Agency, where participants spend their holidays (vacations) while perceiving the current situation of the region, identifying attractive points, hints, and problems/challenges, and then connecting them with their daily work (work) to present them on the final day. This proposal was received from participants of Kyukeiren, which led to the conclusion of this agreement. We will work on specific initiatives, such as expanding stay bases such as workation accommodation facilities using vacant old folk houses, developing secondary transportation/mobility, and revitalizing agriculture through the export of unique agricultural products from Ukiha City. By implementing these initiatives, we will contribute to the promotion of new ways of working and business restructuring, and the revitalization of the region. We also aim to become an advanced example of a “Regional Issue-solving SDGs Workation Program,” which other businesses and regions can tackle in a similar way, and strive to raise awareness in Kyushu, as well as nationwide and overseas.
